Ebb and flow of
thoughts and emotions...
As we look at life, as we take a step back from our usual perspective, we realize that the reality we thought we were experiencing wasn't as fixed as we imagined it to be. We start noticing the flow of our thoughts, moods, emotions, experiences and realize it is much more fluid, flowing in ebb. From there you begin to question the stance you take in life. We have a tendency to forget this fluidity of life and try to cling on to fixed ideas as much as we can.
This realization has evoked a new and comforting connection with nature which acts as a constant reminder of this everchanging landscape of experience. With each wave of a branch, swaying of a tree, sound of a running stream of water acts as a constant reminder to slow down, ponder existence, and embrace the unknown.

Fixed and fluid
perspectives...
Welcome,
My ink landscapes take shape naturally. I allow ink to flow and morph into whatever shape it needs to in that moment. Once ink has settled, I then intuitively give it shape. Each landscape is a vague, abstract, representation of an Irish landscape I've seen before, which then has been held and distorted through memory and later morphed into a contemporary,
surreal representation of reality.

Intimate moments
of connection...
My artwork and photography are reflections of those intimate moments of connection, clarity and natural flow of life, some pieces reflect that more so than others.
As I create, this process unfolds as a natural meditation filled with contentment and exploration of life, revealing moments of deepest longings, darkest fears, deeply engrained personal patterns, but also touches on true peace.
